We sponsored anti-war billboards like those above since mid-2006 at twelve locations in the Dayton area. See our latest billboard on the south side of Needmore Road, driving westbound from Old Troy Pike to I-75, just before Wagner Ford Rd. Anti-war advertisements like this are important and need your support. Please help us continue this effort. Donations can be made by mail to Dayton Peace Action, 1717 Salem Avenue, Dayton, OH 45406. Kindly make checks payable to Dayton Peace Action. Another option is to make a secure donation through PayPal by clicking the "Make a Donation" button below. For questions about donations, which are not tax deductible, email us at donation.

Our Mission

1. We seek global peace through social and economic justice.

2. We oppose military intervention and wars of aggression and we support the nurturing of peaceful solutions.

3. We support the development of a fair and equally applied international legal system.

4. We stand in defense of civil liberties and oppose all forms of racial, ethnic, religious and anti-immigrant violence and bigotry.

5. We mourn the victims of economic and political violence.

6. We support a U.S. foreign and domestic policy, which insures the full political and economic equality of all.

What you can do to help us promote peace...

There are lots of ways that you can get involved in the peace movement.  Peace demonstration events are open to anyone who wants to demonstrate in a non-violent protest.  In addition to the public demonstrations we are looking for people who can make phone calls, write letters, research fairs and festivals coming up in the Dayton area, coordinate with other peace groups, make a brochure, make posters and signs, contribute to this web site, and anything else you can think of.  Send us an email at info@september11coalition.org if you would like to volunteer.

Getting connected...

The Coalition also has a Yahoo group where we email each other information and links to other peace messages.  Click here to go to Yahoo Groups.
